[OWNER: review these terms and add the governing law and operator details. This draft is not legal advice.]
The service
peel is a free tool that removes the background from images. Processing happens on your device, in your web browser. The service is funded by advertising.
Your images and your responsibility
- You keep all rights to the images you process. We don't receive them, and we claim no rights to them or to the results.
- Only process images you have the right to use. Don't use the tool for unlawful purposes or to create content that violates other people's rights.
No warranty
The tool is provided "as is". AI cutouts can contain mistakes, so check the result before you use it. We don't guarantee that the service will always be available, free of errors or suitable for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for damage arising from the use of the tool or its results. This doesn't affect liability that can't be limited by law.
Third-party components
The tool uses open-source software and models, including BiRefNet (MIT licence), ORMBG (Apache 2.0 licence), ONNX Runtime Web (MIT licence) and Transformers.js (Apache 2.0 licence). See About for credits.
